Norman Michael Houser (NMH) is a Kansas based rapper, composer, and producer committed to continuing the traditions of rap and poetry through radically new conceptual frameworks. Whether waxing poetic on what life as a superstar might be like (The Life and Times of Eenem Ache) or bringing fresh, modern interpretations of such lauded authors as Toni Morrison, Cormac McCarthy and Tennessee Williams (L'étagère), NMH presses for empathy and humanism while charging forward into new musical frontiers. Heavily influenced by jazz, live instrumentation is common in his production, whether it be a soul sample or a polished electronic composition. Creating music for 8 years, NMH has shown no sign of stopping.
